Lambay Castle, Country Life.jpg

Lambay is a private owned island 25 minutes from Dublin.  Once you step off the boat, you enter another world, steeped in history, nature and beauty.

At the heart of Lambay lies a hidden castle from the 15th Century, surrounded by walled gardens, stunning hillwalks, private beaches, exotic flora and fauna (wallabies - yes, wallabies), cozy cottages, and its very own Lambay Whiskey cask room.

Choose from a day-long experience on the island or a 1-3 night engagement, depending on the requirements and preferences for your team.

Your all-inclusive retreat package will include private boat transfers between mainland Ireland and Lambay (departing from Malahide, just north of Dublin airport).  The boat journey takes 20 minutes in a covered, high speed boat with sprung seats and lifejackets provided.

Amenities include the Bothy Clubroom, a large meeting / workshop room with high-speed wi-fi, projector and screen, bluetooth speaker and whiteboards with flip-charts on request.

Comfortable accommodation is provided in the Whitehouse, with ancillary rooms in O'Connells Cottage and The Bothy Cottage close by.  If you wish to take the whole island privately, further accommodation can be availed of in the Castle itself.

Meals and refreshments are provided throughout your stay, either by our in-house chef and hospitality team or we can arrange high end catering from the mainland.  We use fresh island and locally sourced produce where possible.

Is your team looking for a meaningful reset, post lockdown?

Each bedroom in the Whitehouse has a super-king bed capable of conversion to two single beds, with mattress protectors, duvets and pillows.

The central two wet-rooms have showers; the corner room en suites have bath-shower combinations and the luxury en suites at the end of each wing have freestanding baths and separate showers.

Please make your way to Malahide as soon as you have arrived into Ireland from abroad.

Dublin Airport to Malahide

Malahide is approximately 20 minutes by road from Dublin Airport; a regular size taxi costs approximately €15-20.

Dublin Ferry Port to Malahide

Malahide is approximately 35 minutes by road from Dublin Ferry Port; a regular size taxi costs approximately €30-35.

Directions to Malahide Town Centre

If you wish to stop off in town for supplies, head for Gibney's of Malahide on New Street, a traditional local pub in the centre of Malahide town.  This is well placed between all the most useful shops (Boots, SuperValu, Donnybrook Fair) and restaurants/cafés if you have time for a bite to eat.  The Marina Centre is a five minute walk from Gibney's and the town centre.

If heading straight for the Marina, tell your taxi driver to drive through the Marina Village (under the arch) and straight to the end where you will see a giant anchor sculpture by the Marina Centre.  Our Lambay boat skipper will meet you outside White’s Laundry at the allotted time.

POLITE NOTICE:  It is important that you do not enter the Marina Centre at any time unless accompanied by the Skipper, as it is private property and there are no public facilities or bathrooms.

The boat transfers to/from Lambay adhere to the tides and, as such, must depart promptly at the scheduled time.

For those with flights, we strongly recommend flights that arrive or depart a minimum of 4 hours (preferably 6 hours) from your scheduled boat transfer time.  Please be ready at the Marina 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

20kg limit on luggage per person on the boats.
