The Bothy Clubroom
The Bothy is a long building situated close the harbour on Lambay. Originally the boathouse, it was extended once the new boathouse was built (by Lutyens) and used historically as a common room for the island residents. It also housed the island shop, which continued to run until the 1990s (although it was little more than a glorified baked-bean cupboard by that stage!).

Today the Bothy is split into two sections: one side is a self-contained apartment with a kitchen to support events in the other side, where there is a bar area (un-stocked) and a large events space known as the Clubroom. There is also a WC and shower facilities.

The Bothy Clubroom is ideal for large sit-down dinners (up to 40 people) and also more intimate groups to enjoy anything from a whiskey tasting, a lunch or afternoon tea, or a board-meeting or presentation (seats 60 in conference).
