Nourish, Ease & Align: A Pilates Retreat for Your Head, Neck and Shoulders
Jessy Babin ~ Pilates
Nina Paavola ~ Pilates & Craniosacral Therapy
(4 days, 3 nights)
THE EXPERIENCE
Jessy and Nina are planning a spectacular 4-day Summer weekend for you filled with Pilates and so much more! On offer:
-
world-class Pilates classes with a focus on rejuvenating your head, neck and shoulders
-
a massage therapist on hand to further this work with specialised therapies to ease the head, neck and shoulders
-
an individual Craniosacral therapy session for each participant with Nina
-
premium accommodation on a breathtaking private island
-
and a unique gastronomic experience while you soak up the island's healing beauty.
This weekend is a fantastic opportunity to develop strength through your practice and recharge your batteries in an idyllic setting. There will be time to give it your all in your Pilates practice, with a challenging and gratifying accessory: the ball! Each participant will have a ball provided to boost and diversify the classical Pilates matwork.
Jessy Babin
(Pilates)
Nina Paavola
(Pilates and Craniosacral Therapy)
The Craniosacral session is tailored to each individual, enabling the participant to better understand the structure of their head and neck. We use the Craniosacral system to gently puzzle out the root causes of any discomfort or alignment issues - and almost as if by surprise, the underlying tensions are able to resolve. Nina brings a special intuitive, almost psychic ability to her interpretation of the work which is truly profound. A Craniosacral session with Nina was the most requested therapy after our 2023 Lambay retreat!
Prepare yourself to make some great memories in-between your world-class Pilates sessions: we have rounded out the schedule with enough time to soak up the surroundings with a fantastic history of the island and walking tour organised by the local experts who can point out all the best places to spot the residents of Lambay Island – the deer, wallabies, puffins and seals!
You can also schedule some extras with some extra-special practitioners: individual sessions of Pilates and massage. Healthy, home-made cuisine will be plentiful, and we didn’t forget the Lambay nights! There will be happy hours, excellent wine and cheese pairings, a blazing Saturday night bonfire, and a few more surprises in store…
