O'Connell's Cottage
O'Connell's Cottage (No.6) is at the end of the row of Coastguard Cottages, which dates back to the 17th Century. Originally two cottages, it was merged into one large home for the estate manager and his family of eight, and has kept his name ever since. Cottage booking enquiries may be made using our booking form, further down on this page.

The Cottage is rustic yet spacious, with wood and coal burning stoves in the living rooms, central heating in the bedrooms and hot water for washing and baths from the main island system. While the more modest of the Lambay accommodation, the Cottage is comfortable and clean, with all the facilities required for an enjoyable break with family or friends.
The three bedrooms share one large family bathroom and the maximum number of guests is six. While we currently have no photos of the three bedrooms, rest assured that they are clean, bright and charming.
The Cottage also comes equipped with wooden outdoor furniture which can be placed on the large lawn outside the front of the Cottages. The perfect place to enjoy an aperitif as the sun sets over the mainland.
Please note there are no clothes washing facilities in the Cottage - hand wash only. Bed linen, bath towels and swimming towels are provided, as well as kitchen and bathroom necessities.
